By accessing and using ThemeLab ("the Service"), a product of QualiHub developed by Govind Grover, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.

2. Description of Service

ThemeLab provides a web-based platform for qualitative researchers to conduct thematic analysis. The Service includes features for:

• Managing research projects and participants
• Uploading and coding interview transcripts
• Developing themes from coded data
• Exporting analysis results

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3.2 Account Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by:

• Academic researchers conducting qualitative research
• Graduate students working on research projects
• Research institutions and universities

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in prohibited activities.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Appropriate Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Upload any content that infringes upon intellectual property rights
• Upload personally identifiable information without proper consent

4.2 Research Ethics

Users are responsible for ensuring their research complies with ethical standards and institutional review board (IRB) requirements. ThemeLab does not provide ethical review or approval for research projects.

You retain all rights to the data, transcripts, and analysis you create using the Service. ThemeLab does not claim ownership of your research content.

5.2 Service Content

The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by QualiHub/Govind Grover and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6. Academic Use

ThemeLab is free for academic research purposes. Users are encouraged to:

• Cite the tool in publications when used for published research
• Provide feedback to improve the Service
• Report any bugs or issues

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All bugs or defects will be corrected
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUALIHUB/GOVIND GROVER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or research work
• Any damages arising from use or inability to use the Service

9. Data Backup

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We recommend regularly exporting your project data using the export features provided.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
